Hi, I’m Maddie, the designer behind Moonsoon Creative.

Nature has always been my greatest source of inspiration. From delicate wildflowers and lush botanical gardens to tiny insects, flowing leaves, and the changing colours of the seasons, I find beauty in the quiet details that often go unnoticed.

Every pattern begins away from the screen. I start with watercolor paints, brushes, and textured paper, carefully painting each illustration by hand. This traditional process allows every flower, leaf, and natural element to develop its own unique character, softness, and organic movement.

Once the artwork is complete, I carefully digitize each painting and transform it into seamless surface pattern collections, thoughtfully designed for textiles, wallpaper, stationery, home décor, and other beautifully crafted products.

I believe that great surface pattern design should feel timeless rather than trend-driven. My goal is to create artwork that not only enhances products but also helps brands tell meaningful stories, evoke emotion, and build lasting connections with their customers.
